What are we learning about this week? We have been learning about lab safety. Why are we learning this? We are learning this so that when we do labs we do not get severely injured. What was the most interesting thing you learned or did in class this week? Why? The most interesting thing I think was learning about all the studies of things such as, meteorology. What was the hardest/trickiest thing we learned about or did this week? I think the hardest thing that we did this week was remembering all the spheres, this was not hard, but it was the hardest thing this week. Did we have any quizzes or tests this week? If we did, which was it, and what was it on? How was it? Yes, we had a quiz on the study of Earth science and lab safety. However, I think both quizzes were very easy if you studied, but, if you did not study this quiz might have been a little tricky. If you could pick anything in science to learn more about, what would it be and why?I would like to learn more about ecology because it is extremely important to learn about, and I’m very interested in it. Is there anything else you want to add? I think I covered everything I wanted to say.

What are we learning about this week? We are starting Unit two, which is about the Earth. Why are we learning this? We need to know how our home works so we do not put it in danger. What was the most interesting thing you learned or did in class this week? Why? We made up our own form of measurement called Fishies. It was interesting and challenging to make up how to measure and break up our unit. What was the hardest/trickiest thing we learned about or did this week? The hardest thing to do was the mini lab during our stations. We had to drop colored water and colored syrup and plot the data on a chart. Did we have any quizzes or tests this week? If we did, which was it, and what was it on? How was it? We took out Unit One test on Wednesday on the first chapter. It was about independant and dependant variables, measurement, the scientific method, and graphs. It was not extremely difficult, but it was good. If you could pick anything in science to learn more about, what would it be and why? I would like to learn more about chemistry because it is interesting to me how one chemical can change depending on what you add into it. Is there anything else you want to add? I love science class this year because it is fun when we do stations and labs. This week's blogger: C.B.
What are we learning about this week? This week we are learning about graphs. Why are we learning this? So we know how to put things together and know how much of something there is. What was the most interesting thing you learned or did in class this week? Why? Probably when we did the stuff with the acids and beakers because we learned what happens when we add cabbage juice to water, acetic acid, and baking soda. What was the hardest/trickiest thing we learned about or did this week? The video quiz was the hardest because some of the questions are RIGHT after another and then some were very hard. Did we have any quizzes or tests this week? If we did, which was it, and what was it on? How was it? We had one about graphing and what are in graphs. If you could pick anything in science to learn more about, what would it be and why? I would want to learn more about why liquids change colors when mixed with other liquids. Is there anything else you want to add? No I think I did a pretty good job covering everything. What we learned this week was hard and fun with the labs. This week's blogger: A.Z.
What are we learning about this week? We are learning about measurements. Why are we learning this? We are learning measurements because we will need this in the future. What was the most interesting thing you learned or did in class this week? Why? The most interesting thing I did in this class was the scale. It was fun because we get to measure things on the scale and we get to work with partners that can help us out. What was the hardest/trickiest thing we learned about or did this week? In my opinion, the hardest thing we learned about this week was standards and measurements. Did we have any quizzes or tests this week? If we did, which was it, and what was it on? How was it? The quiz we had this week was The Method of Science. It was on some vocab words that we had to match and the science method steps. It was pretty easy. I got an A on it! If you could pick anything in science to learn more about, what would it be and why? I would want to learn more about the scale because it is really fun and you learn a lot from it. Is there anything else you want to add? No. This week's blogger: A.B.
What are we learning about this week? This week we are learning about a solar eclipse and how the shadows on the moon and the sun change when the moon changes its rotation. We are still learning about the eclipse since we watched it on the smartboard to watch the news. Why are we learning this? We are learning this because since the eclipse last week, we are still learning more details than just the moon going over the sun. We are doing a project about the solar eclipse as well. It is pretty fun to do. What was the most interesting thing you learned or did in class this week? Why? The most interesting thing I did in class was do the 2D Solar Eclipse Simulation. It was interesting because it helped me learn more with the computer. What was the hardest/trickiest thing we learned about or did this week? I would say nothing was hard to do this week actually. This week was really easy for me. The hardest thing would have been the solar eclipse packet a little confusing but it was really fun to do. Did we have any quizzes or tests this week? If we did, which was it, and what was it on? How was it? No we didn’t this week. We might have one next week for the eclipse. I know this because for the last two weeks we have been talking about the eclipse. I would be surprised if we didn’t. We would have to put our skills to the test to see if we actually payed attention in class this week. If you could pick anything in science to learn more about, what would it be and why? I would want to learn more about the experiments that we would do in the future. I think it would be fun to do more experiments because it will be more experience for us when we get in the older grades. It would be pretty cool if we did. Is there anything else you want to add? No I don’t I think science is just fine the way it is. I like how you have a nice room set up. It help everyone stay organized. You are a really good teacher so nothing to change there. It is perfectly fine the way it is. |
