What are we learning about this week? In this week we are learning about the study of information of human populations, demography. We learned how to find the age percentage of a population. We talked about birth rate, death rate, and population growth rate. Even renewable and nonrenewable. Why are we learning this? We are learning this to know how a country is developed and how its population can determine its rank. (1st world, developed, developing, 3rd world, industrialized) What was the most interesting thing you learned or did in class this week? Why? The most interesting thing I learned or did in class was the formula to get population growth rate. It interests me how birth rate and death rate need to be subtracted. What was the hardest/trickiest thing we learned about or did this week? The hardest/trickiest thing we learned about or did this week was calculating the age percentage of the population. Did we have any quizzes or tests this week? If we did, which was it, and what was it on? How was it? We had a quiz on vocabulary words. It was just to practice, it was pretty easy. If you could pick anything in science to learn more about, what would it be and why? Is there anything else you want to add? If I could pick anything in science to learn more about, it would be to dig in deeper to how the country’s population could affect its economy. I would like to dig into this because it just is stuck in my mind how population can affect something.

What are we learning about this week? We are learning about population, population density, and how the population plato's, rises, and decreases. Why are we learning this? We are learning this because it is important because one day human population would decrease because of a nuclear war or a disease. What was the most interesting thing you learned or did in class this week? Why? The top ten most populated countries in the world, because I never really thought about that and it was fascinating to see how Japan used to be in the top ten, but now mexico to its place What was the hardest/trickiest thing we learned about or did this week? The difference between population and population density. Did we have any quizzes or tests this week? If we did, which was it, and what was it on? How was it? We did not have any test or quizzes. What are we learning about this week? We are learning about biomes and the animals, plants, and abiotic features in them. Why are we learning this? We are learning this so if we ever go into these biomes we’ll know what’s in it and what the weather's like. What was the most interesting thing you learned or did in class this week? Why? The task flashcards were kind of interesting What was the hardest/trickiest thing we learned about or did this week? The stations lab was a little hard at first. Did we have any quizzes or tests this week? If we did, which was it, and what was it on? How was it? We had a biomes quiz on Wednesday and a we will have the Unit 3 test on Friday. If you could pick anything in science to learn more about, what would it be and why? I would want to learn about other planets and if another planet could have ever had life. Is there anything else you want to add? Nothing. This week's blogger: G.H.
What are we learning about this week? We are learning about the biomes and we are working on TenMarks and trying to help work on the skills that we were doing very well on. Why are we learning this? We are learning this because this will help us, not only in future science work, but in math as well. What was the most interesting thing you learned or did in class this week? Why? The most interesting thing I learned about were the biomes. I had a lot of fun looking up research and learning about them. I would really like to learn as much as i can about the different biomes. What was the hardest/trickiest thing we learned about or did this week? The hardest thing we learned this week was the TenMarks because it had to do with things that we struggled on previously. Did we have any quizzes or tests this week? If we did, which was it, and what was it on? How was it? No If you could pick anything in science to learn more about, what would it be and why? If I could pick one thing to learn more about it would be astronomy. I really like stars and the constellations. All of the universe really fascinates me and I am really interested in it. I’m not sure if we are going to get to this stuff this year, but I hope me do sometime in the future. Is there anything else you want to add? No |
