What are we learning about this week? We are learning how to calculate distance, time, and speed to get the amount of distance, time, or speed in the answer Why are we learning this? We are learning this because some types of class work and because it is something that we want/or at least I want to learn. What was the most interesting thing you learned or did in class this week? Why? The most interesting thing that I learned was how to calculate distance, speed, and time What was the hardest/trickiest thing we learned about or did this week? I think it was hard to try and learn something like this because i never tried to calculate that, But once you taught me it was a bit easier Did we have any quizzes or tests this week? If we did, which was it, and what was it on? How was it? Yes it was about the definitions of motion and other terms, then calculating time, distance, speed If you could pick anything in science to learn more about, what would it be and why? I would like to about technology and how all of that works because I was always interested in the way they work. Is there anything else you want to add? No that is all that I would like to say.

What are we learning about this week?
We are learning decimals density mass and starting graphs as well also we are doing a density lab. We have been studying the graphing system. We didn't just do graphs and math we had a lab called colorful observations that had us mix different liquids Why are we learning this? We are learning this because it is a part of science and life and it is also much fun more you know the easier life or anything becomes especially if you want to be a science. What was the most interesting thing you learned or did in class this week? Why? Graphing because it's part of life you need to learn and also density if you know how to do that right it will make graphing easier. What was the hardest/trickiest thing we learned about or did this week? I'd have to say the mathematical part with the decimals I wasn't so good at it so I had to learn again although I did it last year we only did it for a week but then I forgot Did we have any quizzes or tests this week? If we did, which was it, and what was it on? How was it? Yes we had a quiz on the We had a quiz on scientific methods steps and a quiz on graphs If you could pick anything in science to learn more about, what would it be and why? I would choose the solar system it's just fun and cool to learn about our planets and too see if there is life on another planet or not Is there anything else you want to add? No This week's blogger: D.S.
What are we learning about this week? We learned more about the scientific method. We had a density lab and created a poster on the solar eclipse. Why are we learning this? So we can follow the steps to complete an experiment correctly. We can also figure out density on items. We will need most of these things to know in the future. What was the most interesting thing you learned or did in class this week? Why? The most interesting was the ice being held up with string because we didn’t know it would be able to happen. We were actually surprised by it. What was the hardest/trickiest thing we learned about or did this week? The hardest/trickiest thing was probably the experiment with ice because you had to show us how to after our hypotheses. Did we have any quizzes or tests this week? If we did, which was it, and what was it on? How was it? Yes we did, it was a Scientific Method mini-quiz and it was for the steps of the scientific method. If you could pick anything in science to learn more about, what would it be and why? I would pick pollution and climate change because our world is in trouble of this. Antarctica is melting and we can have more floods. Is there anything else you want to add? We found out how to pick up ice with a string using salt. We figured this out once you put the salt in the water. There was no school on Monday so we didn’t know what we would’ve done. (Labor Day messed us up) |
